PH collective, just a quick bit of advice if you will...

Of all the silly things 'we' have a very tuned Honda vision moped. The damn thing did around 65mph when it was first put together. Pointless some might argue, but even with my varied experience of big bikes, this thing has scared the life out of me on numerous occasions. I am 37. I should have grown out of this 20 years ago.

I say 'we', as ownership (or at least registered keeper) is a little vague, in that it has passed around me and a few mates several times over - I owned it a few years ago, swapped it for something trivial. Anyway, it's mine again now (albeit in boxes), swapped this time for a crate of German beer. Yes yes, should have kept the beer etc...

It has been off road for a good number of years (but after SORN was introduced), no-one can find the v5, and we are not even sure who's name is on the v5 - although it is one of us. However, it definitely has never been declared SORN.

So, my question: If I now apply for the v5, is me or one of my mates then going to be hit with a big fine, or will I simply need re-register as SORN when I get a v5?

If they haven't got him yet, they won't get him. Just reregister it and SORN it as soon as you can.
