Attempted theft?

Hello All,

I am a long time lurker and have been meaning to introduce myself in the Readers' Cars section which I will do shortly. Something's come up in the meantime which worries me...

Went out to my car this morning to find two white latex gloves on my bonnet - inside-out so evidently worn and discarded.

Feels like an attempted theft but there is no visible damage or signs of forced entry. The car is parked on the street in south west London for your information.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I once found a pair of gloves discarded in my garden - couple of lads had stolen an Astra and dumped it nearby. HTH

Could always report it to the Police.

Either turns out to be nothing. Or you have the fingerprints of someone stupid who left their gloves.

It is minor, but sometimes these things are part of a bigger picture and the fact that you've started this thread means that it is worth following through. Even if only for our amusement.
