Looking to book a trackday at Silverstone soon - First time there although I have a reasonable amount of trackday experience at other venues (incl Castle Combe, Donnington, Bedford, Rockingham).

Would I be missing out if I booked the International Circuit rather than GP? Obviously it's a bit cheaper but is that because it's a lot less challenging / interesting? I note in particular that it would mean missing Luffield, Copse, Maggots/Becketts which look like some of the best parts of the track!

In case it matters, my steed is a BMW Z4MC with very few mods for track work (it's a lot of fun but not that quick compared to the usual fare!)

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Yes I reckon so nothwithstanding the new grandiose sounding name for the old South Circuit; like you say, C M & B are the really iconic 'got to do' bendy bits, as is Woodcote although it's way less intimidating & potentially punishing compared with how it used to be: OK you'll have to do boring old L, but as they say 'no pain, no gain'.

if you are only likely to do it once then it has to be GP really.

Personally i think the GP track is awesome, when I heard that they were getting rid of bridge i was dissapointed but after driving the new track it is superb and challenging.

Here is a video of a Silverstone Instructor driving the track recently and giving a commentary, this may help you decide?
