This idea has stemmed from a recent post regarding my disappointment with the content of EVO magazine recently....

Here's a thought; Could and would, a new car magazine put together by the team at PistonHeads actually work? Ideas and possible content over to you....

My concern is that either the website will suffer (pay wall or reduced content, otherwise why pay for content when it's available online for free?), or that any magazine will suffer from insufficient content that is different to what is already offered on the website. Add stiff competition and difficult times for magazines all round, I can see it might be a challenge. And there's no forum. But I'm interested and would definitely support it.

I already see PH as a magazine. It just has the major benefit of being online. So I get all the news and features as they happen, rather than in one great big lump every month, where the news can be outdated by the time it goes to print.

We are a magazine, just not on that's available in WHSmith

Will we go paper? Nah, tough market to crack and we like working on our ZX81 too much.

I'd agree with this.
Would a PH book work?
You know, PistonHeads the Best Bits?

I remember seeing a PH book / magazine thing in WH Smiths in an airport when I was going on Holiday once. If only I'd known how good PH was back then, I'd have bought it - it was pretty thick and looked like there was a lot of good reading in it.

Actually I'd be up for one of these if they're still available. How do I get one?
