Nice to see a Griffith in the 'Earls Court' building at Goodwood yesterday as part of a display of iconic car designs. The particular Griff did look stunnung as well!

This was brilliant - we stuffed the box with as many votes as we could find free papers for. Parked right next to an Elan it really made my day. Sadly I didn't have a camera on me at the time but hopefully someone will be along soon with pics.

The car was a stunning J-reg metallic grey pre-cat. The owners name was on the info board but to my discredit I have forgotten whose it was.

Anyone know which car won?

A design icon it might be - but 0/10 for getting the shutline right on the bootlid. I've not seen one yet that looks right, saying that, it's about the only thing I don't like about the design.

Hi Mike, As above, thats the one!! Did look very good, fantastic paint.

Mine, well you know how it is Mike, one step forward, eight back!! The engine parts are all done I now need to build it up. The rollcage and chassis have been modified, again needs some time and a bit more money for me to finish it really. Its a miracle I ve still got it really!!
How you getting on with yours??

First class pics Steve. Griff looks great, in good company with the E-type. Only downgrade is the number plate. Could do with one with TVR on it. (Your's!) Should also prefere a burr walnut dash.

I thought that as well then realised that the car numbers were for the voting in the car of the show eg E-type car 14, Griff car 18! Thought it strange that Goodwood had been able to get one of the first 20 cars built of every car on show!

Why have the rear hood section raised??

Spoils the profile completely!
