dog friendly beach - essex/kent/east sussex
Discussion
Living in SE London we don't have an abundance of coast on our doorstep and the hound has yet to experience the beauty of the beach!
We've a good few places we take her with lots of water to play in, she loves it, and we really want to take her to the beach.
anyone know of any dog friendly beaches (that let dogs on this time of year) in essex/kent/east sussex? I had a google but it only seemed to come up with ones that won't be open until end of September for dogs, ones where they have to be on a lead or very small shingle beaches. I don't mind if it's shingle but quite fancy a really big stretch of beach so she can have a good old rip around!
Cheers!

Another week and I believe dog restrictions at camber sands are lifted. It's fantastic for the dogs as there's plenty of pools at Low tide and the is very shallow.
Love Camber Sands and Winchelsea. All year round you can go from just past the car park towards the MOD land (left as you are facing out to sea). I had a feeling summer restricitons ended on Sep 1st but I may be wrong. Lovely beach! This is a good website http://www.thegooddogguide.com/

We also have our very own 'dog friendly Wiki' at the top of the page - do add to it people if you find some new places!
