So, the Steve Heath guide makes it all sound sooo simple. Yet, I can't work it out. :P

Trying not break it, I have twisted the rubber boots either way, but no movement at all.

Any ideas?

You don't twist the boots you twist the whole 'jam jar lid'.

This does mean the cables get twisted up and you unscrew the lids but when you screw the lids back on the cables will untwist again.

There may be some inline connectors you can disconnect first which prevents this.

Thanks smile I had tried that, but obviously didn't use enough force, as it needed a bit more elbow grease to shift!

I have the exact same problem with mine.
One of my rear lights has gone out and I just can’t change the bulb at all!
I’m always watching for someone tupping me up the rear end but it’s not happened yet.irked

But I do need to get a nice strong boy to fix it for me, my wrists are a bit limp.;)

I wonder if Alex is free? lick
