Just got back from a week away and my car is dead. Won't unlock, won't start, won't do anything.

If anyone wants to know, its a fking useless Mazda 3 sport. Its getting sold now and I'm buying a barge.

fking useless piece of st!

You're selling your car because the battery is flat?

If it won't unlock how do you know it won't start,

How do you know you didn't leave a light on inside if it is flat?

How is this 'typical'? Has it happened to you before?

Managed to get door open now.

Good comment about why I'm selling it smile. Its not just the battery. The alarm has been playing up for about 9 months now. Just goes off randomly.

The stereo system is also playing up. It broke a spring a few months ago. The driver seatbelt broke last month.

It had belt problems just after I got it. And some other issues. Its only four and a bit years old.

Just getting fed up with it. smile

Lights are on the off setting.

Will have to check interiors when it gets some juice back in the battery. If that is the problem of course.

Imho if the alarm has been playing up it is highly likely that if you didn't leave anything else switched on that will be the culprit.

Don't knock it. This type of reasoning has let me experience lots of different cars in a relatively short period of time. hehe

Thanks.

Re the alarm. Its been back to Mazda dealer and they said nothing is wrong with it. However, about every three weeks it will just go off after a journey. It takes a small drive down the road and about ten unlocks and locks to make it stop.

Is it worth seeking an auto electrician? Or is it worth pestering Mazda more? Thanks.

A battery that's on its way out could be the reason the alarm keeps going off.

Get rid of it!

Whatever else is wrong with it or not, you obviously don't like the car so get shot and buy yourself something you do like.

Man-logic, that is (and I use it, too) wink
