hi all, getting my interior done in newcastle(30 miles away) and have just noticed i have lost the inside of my blipper! i usually put key in and turn then press the blipper till the immobiliser disconnects(solid red light ) then i can start the car, i also have a micro chip meta thing that i have never used which looks similar to a memory stick, is this a back up if the battery goes in the blipper??? i'm 30 miles away and picking car up next saturday but am going up monday to see if this can get me out of the cack, got friends who have to use both to start the car so i am panicking a bit! and is there anywhere where you can get a repalcement blipper that unlocks the doors and disables the immobilser?? PLEASE HELP...any help greatly appreciated, jim.

Try Carl Baker, he installs meta systems so should be able to supply replacement fobs.

The meta "memory stick" key will disable the immobiliser but not the alarm and obviously you wont be able to open the doors in the conventional manner.

If you have lost your fob and you only have the one you will need to remove your alarm module under the dash and send it to Carl who will reprogram a new set of key fobs into the module.
He can send you spare fobs but you need a working original to set the alarm into program mode to program any new fobs you have.
Carl does a pretty quick turn around and sent me 2 spare fobs which were programmed in.
So it looks like you need to remove your dash and disconnect the alarm module and send it to Carl.
With the alarm module disconnected you will still be able to run the car but you will have to use the little plastic key which you push into the slot on the steering column to disarm the imobliliser.
However the car wont be lockable or unlockable with the alarm module removed.
Hope this helps.
Paul.
