PLEASE pick up after your dogs. We walk our dogs on the same paths and we don't want to have to dodge your mutt's poo. You see those bags we carry? Get some.

I have NEVER understood the people that pick up, but then leave the bag behind ? Last saturday, we walked the woods and came across a poo bag left in the middle of the path ??

I mean, surely, in the woods its stick and flick?

Well I thought I'd start with just picking it up first, then move on to taking it home and putting it in their own bins!!

If you are coming back the same way it makes sense to leave the bag then pick it up on the way back.

I've often wondered if a vending type machine would be feasible in popular dog walking areas.

I'm sure they never forget rolleyes Don't like carrying bags of warm sh!!te don't get a dog simples ?.

In a large park today no looking around just watching the floor, no wonder they have to fence the kids play areas now the way some owners let their dogs dump anywhere, it's just out of order.

Carrying one's dog's poo in a bag is a recent phenomenon. Before then I don't recall turds scattered willy-nilly everywhere and we all seemed to manage.

Are there more dogs now, or are we just becoming fussier?

I've actually changed my mind, let the dogs ste whereever they want,I live on a canal and all we get now are 'dog poo trees' the owners bag the poo if someone is looking, then chuck the non biodegradable plastic bag into the nearest tree when no one is looking.
Bell ends.

Cr@p bags when used correctly are great but I'm fed up of these bags being left on the walls around my place. Plastic bags at cow height is not my idea of fun.

Two years ago I spent a week at an Eco friendly cottage and the owners asked us not to use dog cr@p bags because so many get left and don't biodegrade.

We use biodegradable nappy sacks.

I just don't understand why people let their dogs poo on the footpaths that we all have to use FFS.

Bagging it and leaving it and never picking it up is clearly mental, you'd be better not picking it up at all.

In my part of the world it's pretty common to bag it and leave it but then pick it up at the end of the walk, but everybody does pick it up, nobody leaves it there for long.

I think it's better in a bag than lying loose, if I had to choose.

Round here there are special bins to put poo-bags in, and some poor sod from the Council has the job of emptying them... ech.

We have Morons like this on Harden Moor. They don't like the Trials Bike's running around scaring their dog's but leave the st evrywhere.

A few years back I lived in a house with a shared driveway. One day someone decided to dump a bag of st at the entrance to the driveway, which was then quickly followed by more and more bags of st. Then someone followed by adding a black binsack full of general rubbish. I was fuming, and stuck a notice on the fence...

Only left it up for a day to get my point across, didn't want to get too many complaints about the language :-) But needless to say, the stbags stopped.

I have trodden in the stuff 5 times in the last months walking my dog. It is so frustrating as I always pick up after mine. I am always looking on he floor and I still manage to tread in the stuff.

Most frustratingly I recently drove to a walk wearing my trainer with my wellies in the boot. Park up, step out, straight into a massive st! Not happy. Particulalry so as the sole of my trainers has a very intricate design and it took about half an hour of bleach and toothbrush to get it all out!
