Fault code 26 What is it really?

I ran the codes because my check light came on. I got a 26 code. Quad driver? secondary injectors?
Okay two questions.
1- what the heck are the quad drivers and secondary injectors?
2- am I okay to drive it at this point. It seems to be running just fine.

Any help as usual would be greatly appreciated.

Secondary injectors are located in the intake manifold. Been told they only come on when you exercise the go fast lever, i.e. the more turbo boost the more fuel provided by the secondary injectors.

The quad drivers control many things. We had that code come up several times and were able to drive the car generally without problems. You'll need a good shop to find the actual problem if it is in the quad drivers. If you've got the time, the Lotus manual has a rather lengthy if/then elimination routine you can try.
