Wiper Mod

Has any one with a Vantage replaced the wiper arms and blades on here for the later type 2011?
I don't like my wipers and much prefer the later flat type i beleive you can retrofit them but the AM dealer i spoke to on friday is not confident they will fit and it would be on a none return basis.
Any help on this?

I replaced the wiper blades on a 2006 V8V using these:

Bosch Flat Wiper Blade Upgrade 20 Inch
Bosch Flat Wiper Blade Upgrade 24 Inch

I can’t help with this mod, but definitely go somewhere else. Somewhere, with good model knowledge and above average skill sets.

An Aston Martin Dealer that would only have a go, on a non-return basis: You couldn’t make it up

Try an Indi.

Takes all of 30 seconds to fit - unclip the old blades from the arm and put these on. Pleased with the result, the blades fit well over the shape of the screen and wipe across the full blade, and definitely prefer the flat profile on the blade at the bottom of the screen over the conventional one.

Are the new blades any quieter than the originals?

Bosch is really a good product. I also had the Bosch Flat Wiper Blade Upgrade for my Mazda 323 mods.

Yes the later arms and flat blades will fit an earlier car, just had them fitted to my 06 V8V but not cheap list price is £465+ for both arms and the blades.

I have now sourced the parts from a main dealer and you can retrofit these.
I have the part no's if any one needs them.

Wiper blade CG43-17528-BA
These codes are for a DB9 i assume the same for a Vantage just check before ordering.

This mod will give you flat arms and one peice wiper blade a much neater and modern look.

Over £550 quid for 2 bits of metal and 2 bits of rubber... bargain I'm sure..

Costo Dunlop flat blade conversion on mine, tops £16. A vast improvement over the old wipers.

The 46 that was on there came off when I washed it a while back, been meaning to order another but then I saw this! Definitely not chavvy, just looks better than the GB logo and helps take up the vast yellow space of the DB9 rear plate

58 is on the ML, 46 is on the Polo, 29 on the DB9 just completes it nicely

And he won't do anything really on his first season. Give it 2-3 years and we will be looking at the next world champion
