I'm trying to find out if the above colour is the same as the hycote rover nightfire red pearlescent?

NO they are not the same but they are incredibly close... nightfire was yamaha we had it on an sr125 when first released.... if not on the same panel e.g. tank and mudguard.. you wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

there is a much bigger difference in colour between the original 2pak paint colour and the newer acrylic colours (as in aerosols) after a few months the acrylic types are a couple of shades different from the 2pak.... get a can of paint or an aerosol made up by a car paint specialist.. get it in polyester basecoat... then overlacquer in clear cellulose (2pak clear or basecoat mixed with hardener is extremely toxic)

Yes they are the same colour, 7WX5B is Rover Nightfire code CAQ.
