France for the weekend
Discussion
Took the Griff to France for the first time this weekend had a great time, just a couple of niggles battery seems to be knackered and would not start then dumped oil on the road bloody sump plug came off lucky I saw smoke coming from back of the car and was 1500 metres from a service station, nice breakdown man put in new sump plug and started her up and thank god she was fine. Got some great photos from circuit de gueux and a not so great photo.

Yes it came right out, did not find the old sump plug the breakdown man took me to thier garage and they had a box of sump plugs which was lucky or it meant a another night in France as it was Sunday and most places shut down. Talked to Dan Taylor and he said it is common and if you ground out over bumps it can loosen the plug and I grounded out about 4 times in car parks no matter how slow I went up the ramps. Ordered a hexegon one now,
Yes great place to have photos taken and it is where I had pictures taken of my Cerb the first tme I went to France in that

Great first pic. Sorry to see the second pic but sounds like you had a bit of a result getting it fixed.
I must get mine out of the UK at some point.
Yes lucky escape and yes it was a result and to cut a long story short the first breakdown guy wanted to take it back to his garage and do the work next day.I must get mine out of the UK at some point.
You must take the Griff to France the roads are great with not much traffic like uk so you can enjoy the drive if you know what I mean
