How fast do you need to go to not only ride up the Audi but fly through the air and hit the wall about 12-14 feet off the ground?
They destroyed a post box, road sign and fence before getting to the Audi, much speed involved.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2204373/Co...

Was there ever a time in this country when newspapers could be relied upon to print the unbiased truth?

Daily Fail being economical with the truth again in the name of newspaper selling spectacular headlines. Clearly the Lexus didn't fly 80 feet but reached the first floor by rolling over the top of that Jazz.

I'm sure the uprooted post box would have provided flight for a reasonable distance. Looking at the TT, the damage to the front would have been heavier if hit full on?Was there ever a time in this country when newspapers could be relied upon to print the unbiased truth?

My grandfather had a cottage at the bottom of a very steep hill and was on several occasions woke in the night up to find a car which had been going way too fast stuck between his lawn and living room with moderate damage to his property.
Worst one was a JCB which had lost its brakes, demolished half the house during the day as well, luckily for him at the time he was in the kitchen at the back of the house and not sat in his chair watching TV beside the front window.
The hill was like a San Francisco street in the sense there was vast declines with intermittent short flat sections. So easy to pick up speed & get air!! Used to find joy riders would use it for thrills in the 80's and it wasn't uncommon to visit Grandpa on the weekend to find a Vauxhall Nova or such like on its roof in his front garden with a snapped steering column & police tape around it.
