Hoping the amazing powers of PH will help out here. I filled up at Woolley Edge services (WF4 4LQ) on Saturday, but only have the card receipt, so I know how much I spent, but not how much petrol that was.

Does anyone know of a website where I can find out what the price of petrol at BP in Wooley edge services is at the moment (or, has anyone filled up recently that is equally obsessive about calculating their mileage and could tell me?)

In fact, to save me the hassle, just ring them.

That was a good leap of lateral thinking, but sadly they aren't answering the phone.

I might just need to make it up, but if you're passing and willing to have a look, that's be terrific.

You could have given him the number though, it wouldn't have taken you a minute to look it up for him.

Someone has made website about motorway service area - yes I don't understand why either!

http://motorwayservicesonline.co.uk/Woolley_Edge

On that website they have a link to the official Woolly Edge Northbound website:

http://moto-way.com/location/woolley-edge-northbou...

And yes they also have a link to the official Woolly Edge Southbound website:

http://moto-way.com/location/woolley-edge-southbou...

Enjoy!

All that jazz

Without phoning them and asking the only other way I could think of was use petrolprices.com site and look up the current price there using some trickerypokery. The highest price for u/l within 5 miles of their postcode is 148.9 so that is 99.9% likely to be the MSA.

U/L was 148.9 on both North and South forecourts.

Thanks MrMXT.
I must therefore have bought 28.9L, giving me a new record - 45mpg on that tank. Evidently the Fiesta prefers cruising down the motorway at warp 8.5, rather than trundling around town.

Normally I get around 38mpg which is still nothing to write home about!
