Gents, I've got an issue with sticky prints on the bodywork of my daily drive (thankfully not the Griff) from a small person on the house. Has anybody had any experience of getting marks in the paint off. I've tried most products but still not coming out, don't want to use T cut as I don't think it will work.
Any ideas ??

What did they have on their fingers!! A little bit of fine cutting paste (like T-Cut but minus the Amonia) should do it if it's really stuck on, but unless your wee one has been ealting acid or alkali a polish should get through it.

I think it's an excuse for total respray hehe ... unless its a precat, and their original paint is like hard backed enamael unlike the soft water based stty paints

there are a number of products at your local autospares for removing stubbon marks off paint work... there are ones specifically for removing road tar which is what i would try first. I would not recommend going straight for an abbrassive product first (Tcut etc.) as all this may do is remove the paint from around whatever has stuck to the paint first.

"Any ideas?"

Get rid of the small person with sticky fingers? wink

Have you tried clay? I got a clay kit when my white car got iron filings on it and with some work the paintwork was like glass.

Aah! Now that is interesting, because I had a little scuff on the hire car on holiday. I rubbed SPF50 into it and it masked it quite well, at least until the handover inspection anyway!
