What car did I see?

So a while back I saw a couple of cars that I really liked but they were small compact cars. I usually drive something a little larger.

However, my wife has now asked me to buy her a little car and I wanted to find out what it was I saw.

I was sure it was an Alfa Romeo but having checked Google Images for Alfas I can't find it.

The front of the car kind of looked a little like this: http://teamspeed.com/forums/general-automotive-suv... but not quite so muscular and the headlights, though similar were at more of a vertical angle and were higher up running along where the creases of the top of the wing come to an end.

The car was a hard top, similar sized to the Mito that Alfa sell but maybe slightly bigger,

Any ideas?

Thanks for these suggestions but not these.

The headlights are much narrower. Kind of slit-like, like on the link I posted but with the positioning of the cars you have suggested.

Nope none of these. The SZ and 159 both have lower and less vertical lights than I am thinking.

From memory it was about this size of car but the lights were much narrower, very slit-like at the same kind of angle as the new Fiesta but no more than an inch or so wide.

This is a good call but not the one I saw. The lights are that sort of angle but much narrower.
