Ok its no big deal BUT it really p****s you off when you fork out £700 for a service and they forget to reattach the oil breather pipe. I now have an involuntarily rustproofed engine bay - fresh Mobil 1 everywhere.

Make the time and take it back. They are pretty nice people and will rectify things for you I'm sure . In my experience their servicing was always pretty thorough and efficient, though not the cheapest. But don't get me started on the sales side........

I believe Ted has a no name and shame policy, so this could get deleted pretty soon.

If ya have something to moan about best do it on Cerbera mailing list.

They will most certainly clean it all up for you. My brand new car had a problem with a seal which caused oil everywhere - they cleaned it all up superbly, no questions asked.

They did an intermediate service on my 4.2 on Wednesday, and welded up the sports exhaust joints and rear exhaust hangar. Have no complaints about their service (pity the courtesy car was a Nissan Micra though) and car looked great when done, fully washed, tyre walls blacked up etc. Only problem was it poured with rain on the way home, so will be out washing it again tomorrow (weather permitting!). As for cost, checked around and they appear to be among the cheapest this side of Chesterfield.

Oops sorry, didn't know about the name and shame policy. I'll keep my thoughts about work to myself.

As for the clean up, I just can't be bothered to be without the car for another whole day fiddling around with transport/Nissan Micras etc.

Andy/APM looks after my cerbera 4.5. Engine rebuild and service currently in operation. As well as a cheaper hrly rate he also manages to do stuff quicker (double bonus). The best thing though is that you know you are getting someone with I guess almost 7 yrs experience with AJP engines. I wouldnt be so confident with some dealers ie paying £75ph for a school leaver to mess things up (ok it wouldnt be this bad but the point is still valid?!?!)

Beej,

Whilst I've not used them myself - most people seem pleased with their work.

If you contact them I'm sure they will sort you out, and please no naming and shaming.

Cheers,
JSG
