Have been told that brake pads down to 30% and dics at end of life, will all need replacing at next service. Well, to keep costs down I will be replacing the discs and pads myself, has anybody done this as a diy project, do I need new caliper bolts etc?? any help would be appreciated. BTW car is 2006 mileage 26000
Definitely a very easy DIY job. The Brembo brakes are used on lots of different cars, nothing specific to AM here. You probably won't need a fitting kit (pins and springs) unless yours are corroded and impossible to extract. You will have to remove the caliper to get the disks out. These can be bolted on very strongly indeed, so you might need a long bar no your socket to crack the bolts.
