Having just read an article from Influx re:- Alfa 155 GTA it refers to the engine power out put as 490 PS. I cant find a conversion for this anywhere, I know about Foot Pounds, Newton meters and BHP but not about PS ? Can anyone explain PS ? Thanks in anticipation. jono50.
Pretty sure it wouldn't say 490PS as that's 490HP, so basically around 480bhp...R300will said:

1 BHP is about 1.01 PS
So there's barely any difference. Why the f
k invent a measurement that's the same as the previous one? It's bloody pointless. Miles vs Km fair enough there's a difference there but 1.01?????

If you find PS an annoying unit don't even think about using inches - there are loads of fractionally different inches, Scottish, Canadian, BS and of course the American inch, both of them. Yep, Americans still have two inches of different lengths depending on whether you're measuring things or land.

And if left handers would just put the effort in to be like the rest of us.

I think you might be assuming I'm not left handed...
I don't think he's assuming anything, other than perhaps that you're telling the truth. Which might be the problem. Also I'm ginger.
