As per the title really. I am off for a Spa trackday on the 10 October and I have never visited the area before. Will be staying for two nights and there wil lbe 4 or 5 in our group. We all enjoy good food and beer so are hoping that we will be well catered for.

I don't want to spend too much per night (under 100€) on accommodation as I am in the process of spending a small fortune on my car getting ready for two trackdays in the space of two days!

Radisson Blu in the centre of Spa to kick off. Typical 3/4 star business hotel, very close to restaurants. Free parking outside if you get there early enough.

From memory think I paid about €99 per night in April but can't be sure.

Alternatively the Best Western Auberge (Place du Monument, down a little from the Radisson) is great; for food the Auberge (again) is superb but pricey; however, there are actually plenty of places to eat in Spa just wander round. If you find yourself on a little road (perhaps Rue de L'Hotel de Ville?) with two pizza places opposite each other, the smaller one is much better.

I've just booked for the week after. Have a look on bookings.com, lots of very well rated hotels directly in or very near to Spa for under £100

Radisson. Don't forget your swimming shorts as the spa/pool is adjoining.
Italian - turn right
Chinese - turn left
Steakhouse - opposite and to the left
Sandwich shop - on the corner opposite
Casino - on the way to/from the Chinese.

Last year a group of us stayed at La Source up near the entrance to the circuit - not bad - a little soulless but convenient and with a great underground carpark handy with an open car and the Spa rain !

A few of us are there that week, staying at the Radisson. Went last year and there are some good places to eat for sure.

See you there then. We're staying just up the road by the BMW garage.

I'm also staying at the Radisson on 9th and 10th. It looks like we might well be propping up the bar until the early hours of the 11th.

A bunch of us stayed at La Source back in 2011.

Nice hotel, great pool table, but the service was awful!

The hotel just up the hill does great steaks on the stone & pizzas, but be aware of the 'hotel dog' that likes to take a leak everywhere!
It's a sleepy village where La Source is, so don't expect lively times!!

If we go back next year, we'll stay in the town.

Radison Blu is excellent. We stayed there last weekend for the 6 hours classic.

Your car even gets 15 minutes of fame!

See you all next week
