Would you for a Chauffeur car?

Hi I'm looking at a Citroen C6 for chauffeuring I currently have a Mercedes C220 cdi. I'm looking to buy my next chauffeur car in Janurary I'm deciding which what to go for. I wouldn't mind an S320 cdi or S320L cdi and can fetch one for £15k or a tad more with a good spec. The reason I'm thinking about Citroen is because they're cheaper at £8000 and different, I don't know what they are like with running cost and how reliable. I do like my C220 and thinking should I countinue with this and save money.

I don't know on that one to be fair. But I do have this itch for the C6. I've seen many threads about the C6 but not come across as one being used for cheuffeuring. With the S just so many around.

Nice cars, no doubt. But the models specced without wood interior look a bit cheap inside. Would the Citroen badge satisfy your customers?

Comparatively cheap to buy - stellar milage ability

The back is a very nice place to be in them - plenty of room, blinds, fridge, reclining massage seats, ultra quiet. Full aircon and sound system controls.

Ultra reliable and comfortable. Factor in an LPG conversion and you will have cheap running costs as well.

I would imagine that a large percentage of people looking to be chauffeur driven would be put off by the Citroen badge.

just remember 90% if not more of your customers no nothing about cars.

Only a select few will 'get' the big C6 and it's quirky ways. The rest will think it's just another citroen taxi cab with leather and wood. Some might actually be annoyed that it's a citroen as they are seen as bargin cars to many.

When it comes to making purely money, play it safe and forget your own ideas. Black merc, jag etc will do.

I'm sure the C6 is a perfectly competent barge to be wafted around in but I think a lot of more badge-sensitive people wouldn't be impressed. To be honest I think I'd probably be less than impressed, the term "chauffered" would imply a premium experience to me and the Citroen badge just doesn't.

Thats the problem the badge, as for the interior is not to bad but not up to Mercedes quality. I should ask my customers see what they think, I think the C6 would make a good airport taxi/cheuffer car because the comfort is there but as for business tge quality would be missing. I guess it would be a miss for the C6 leaves me with the S-Class. I fancy something different nothing wrong with Mercs I love em I would like to be different to the others and maybe customers fancy a change from the Mercs. I would love a Bently Arnage but shame they ain't diesel. Looks Merc is the winner lol. Any others I've missed?

If I ordered a chauffeur driven car to run a client to the airport or whatever and a Citroen turned up I'd be pissed off. Taxi, ok. Chauffeur driven 'luxury' car, no.

Lol I feel a bit of tt. Never mind its hard to find a different luxury barge that will work. It must be hell in London with the compitition because it all looks the same, the amount of Bentley Flying Spur, Rolls and others never seen so many in one place they was starting to look like taxis to me.
