Whats the best car YOU HAVE driven ???
Discussion
987 Boxster 3.4
Absolutely fell in love with it, beautiful build quality and for me, just the right amount of performance. Much better than any 996 I've driven to date.
I'm sure it's not impressive for many on PH but for me it is an excellent car that is in the realms of being obtainable.

Totally subjective based on use and requirements but.....
997 Turbo
Just so ridiculously usable. So much grip, power almost regardless of what rpm/gear you're in. Easy to drive etc, and could easily be a daily while also being able to annihilate 99.999% of other cars it comes across and eat up the road at supercar pace. Also looks great and doesn't sound too bad either.
Could have said Caterham CSR in terms of driver involvement and fun but as an actual proper car that you can use in a general sense, the Porsche is far superior.

Palmersport's Formula Jaguar single-seater. Runs on Formula 3 slicks, weighs around 600kg and makes some decent downforce. It also has 250bhp from a 3.0 Jag V6, which sounds awesome when it's sucking air from right behind your helmet.
Apart from the obviously massive pace, it's a sublime thing to drive, and takes "pinpoint accuracy" to the next level. No assisted anything, the brakes let you place it perfectly on entry and the steering is as direct and communicative as you could imagine. Sequential gearbox is lovely too! The car seemed to get even better this year too, simply another world, and I've been privileged with some serious machinery.
As road cars go, tougher call, Murcielago LP640 was outstanding but a 996 911 is probably the "best" package I've driven. Atom 300 gets the "nuts" vote by a mile, though!

Several for different reasons.
A mini because it was my first car.
A Countach because it was my first Lambo.
An Audi 90 because it was the first car I had on which all the electrics worked; windows/demister etc.
An Elise because it was the first car I owned from brand new and to my specs.

because it was special an early eighties Aston Martin Vantage - special edition in Gold with tan interior!
Aside from that Driving wise would be my Lotus Esprit, Noise wise my TVR S V6 Cosworth, fun wise any Police car with lights as people got out of my way and I was allowed to drive as quick as I liked.
