Find myself driving behind a lot of vans these days and noticed most don't have reversing sensors. Most of the time they either have a dented factory bumper or a wonky Safe-T-bar. So why aren't vans fitted with parking sensors as standard?

Most van drivers think they're much better drivers than they are, and that parking aids are some affront to their manhood. Vans tend to be ordered in very basic spec too.

More are getting them as standard these days, but still far from commonplace. A discreet aftermarket rear view camera isn't hard to fit either, and I see quite a few of those.

Vans have rear bumpers. No need for sensors.

Also manly men have spacial awareness.
