Kenwood KDS - BT60u and iPhone issues?

I couldn't find a car audio section so I thought I'd post in here!

Just wondering if anyone has got this HU and uses it to play music/make phone calls via an iPhone? I bought the HU a few years ago and it works great with my iPhone 3G S. The place I bought it from though told me to be wary of software updates as it may cause potential connectivity issues - so, just in case, I've never updated to the newer iOS's.

I now however what an iPhone 5 but I don't want to go to the expense of buying one and then find out the Bluetooth wont link with the HU etc!

Just wondering if any of you guys have been using this Kenwood with a 4G S for instance?

I guess it was a bit of a long shot that someone else would have the same HU - reckon I might need to speak to Kenwood!
