Can anyone tell me if there are any visual differences between a 993 Carrera 2S and a 993 Carrera 4S?

C4S has the turbo "big red" brakes, while the C2S remains on the (more than adequate) brembo system of a C2 with black calipers. I know the C4S has the turbo suspension aswell, so it might be a bit lower than the C2S - 30 mm if I recall exactly.

Oh yeah and one has C2S written on the back rather than C4S...

Not visual unless you look at the part numbers on the reverse side of each wheel: if the C2S was specified with 18" wheels when new, the wheels would be the techno hollow spoke, whereas the 4s would have heavier solid spoke.

Carrera 2S also has a split rear spoiler, unlike the 4s which is the same as the narrow bodied cars.

All Euro 993 S models come standard with M033 (lowered) suspension. Thus they and the TT are the same height. M030 (sports chassis) is also the same height ...

cheers, Maurice
