Door doesn't open - is this an MOT fail?

Put one of my cars in for MOT today, but just realised that the rear nearside door doesn't open. There's something wrong with the connection between the door handles and the lock, when means it's temperamental. I keep meaning to get it mended, but as the rear seats are never used in that car, it's not been a high priority.

Anyway, question is: If the interior and exterior door handles don't work one one of the rear doors of a saloon car: is that an MOT fail?

My van failed when the passenger door lock jammed, couldn't open from inside or outside.

Rear will be fine as long as it latches closed properly. Front doors must open and close.

This temperamental, and this morning was not working. I'll cancel the test and fix it before re-booking.
