Hi All, Having just carried out alterations to my GTR I'm looking for a quality set of velocity stacks for the Kinsler Injection system on the Chevy.
I still have eight original stacks but had to cut the bell mouths off on there previous application, so now I'm either looking at making new bellmouths to fit these stacks or buying a nice custom set if there avaiable.
Any assistance aprreciated
Cheers

Doug the Dog: I have had Kinsler on the GTR for three years. Three things I have learned that you may find interesting. The stock throttle posistion switch supplied by Kinsler had a very limited life span. On the street, the car spends so much time in a very restricted part of the throttle setting that the physical part of the swiper (if that makes sense to you) would degrade. Drivability would go slowly away until you would realize that "hey, this isn't as good as it should be, it needs to be replaced". Then I would replace it and kick myself for not doing it earlier. Kinsler now has a TPS that is not mechanical in design intented to fix this problem. Second thing is take a long hard look at the linkage and spend the time to get the arms in parrell and opening from say 30 degrees short of a 90 degree angle to 30 degrees past 90 degrees. I spent a little time on this about 2 months ago and suprised myself how smooth this system can be when its set up right on the money. Last thing which I am sure you already know is take your time with balancing the throttles with a good vacumn device its money well spent in power, driveability and fuel mileage. Hope some or any of this is a help to you or anyone elso contemplating this system. Lee
