I would say give Chris down at Regal Autosport a call, I know they have got all the proper BMW software equipment now and can do mapping.

One of the guys down there has just fit a custom supercharger to his 330 and making good power.

Not local, but Thorney Motorsport run an M3 race car in the Britcar, so are familiar with mapping BMWs for racing.

Thanks for the ideas, unfortunately none mentioned are able to remap the car in time for my rally on Sunday, so I'm going tophave to lose my entry fee and championship position frown

Yes, there are very, very few people who can remap a seriously tuned engine - particularly a de Vanos'd M3... Real bugger, but car will now be booked in with a specialist in Northants....

I was talking to the guys at Southways the other day about mapping a BMW engine, Rich did mention a name but I've forgotten it now - perhaps give them a call? Although it could well be someone you have already spoken to.

We will have the rollers in use tomorrow morning. If all you needed was to confirm you are not running to rich or lean we could run it up for you.

Thanks for the ideas - I have tried a number of people suggested on here (and many other besides) and have finally found someone who can do what is required - unfortunately it means towing the car to Rochdale! 500 mile round trip, but 'Wayne the brain' is very highly regarded and has experience of extensively modified BMW engines like mine. Fingers crossed...
