they're a franchise so you really need feedback from people who've used the one you are going to. I used the one nr. my office at Hampton Court for some BMW wheels and they were awful, sprayed over brake dust/ dirt and very poor quality finish

Use Exel Wheels, they take your wheels away to Lepsons (One of the best in the country at wheel refurbs) and give you some spare rubber to run on in the meantime. They quality assess the repair and then return the wheels to you. Absolutely great service!

One of my regular detailing customers used them for a refurb on his summer BMW wheels last year and the quality of job was poor and they didn't balance the wheels properly and when I saw the car 3 weeks ago they look worse than before the refurb.
I sent one of my customers to The Wheel Specialist and his wheels are excellent and he said the service was great.

I know they're a bit of a trek but I've used BJV for the last 6 Years, they've done around 10 sets of wheels for me now including 2 part split rims/ diamond cut etc. I was just looking at the rims on my BMW which they did 2 Years ago and they still look like new, very reasonable prices too

They did my Griff Estorils this year. Very happy with them, I think you live near me (Crowthorne) if you want to take a look at the work, drop me a PM.

Some good feedback there Gents.

I need to get my X5 wheels refurbished
Its done 110k miles and the rims have been well and truly battered.
Was reccomended to a place in Basingstoke but I know Spit n Polish in Tunbridge Wells are
good just a long trek from Bagshot

I've used BJV in the past and they have been fantastic, they can be difficult to deal with though

I use Wicked Wheels.. Brilliant work, never had a problem with them.

They're very busy though.

WW in Guildford weren't the most cheerful of folk, but did a good job on my Z4 wheels - Tim at Trinity Engineering (AM specialists) really rate their work.

Cheers

I won't say which one, but the wicked wheels I used a few years ago was a waste of time, ended up having them re-done less than a year later (properly) by BJV.

In the last 10 years only lepsons in Swindon have impressed with my needs. They have dropped the franchise and go by the name of:
Platinum Alloys now but are the same team who have been there from the beginning. They are the only company I trust with my clients super & HyperCars. They even sourced a trusted friend to refurbish a set of 250 gt long wheelbase wires. Which were completed to a flawless finish may I add. Fantastic company even if it costs £80.00 in fuel to get a set donesmile
