Hi There, just looking for a little bit of advice really:

We have just part-ex'd my wife's RRS for a RRE - we are heading down tomorrow to drop the car off and pick up the new one. However...we cannot find the spare key - have searched high and low but to no avail, it has been lost.

What would you suggest would be the best way to deal with this? Just tell them when i drop the car off and let them charge me for a new one or try to replace myself? Perhaps most importantly, how much does a replacement key cost?

Thnaks in advance for any replies.

Shoulda bought an old Series. You can unlock and start them with the key from anything.
Or a screwdriver.
Or a coat hanger.
Or the wrong end of a spoon.

Did you tell them it had two keys when you did the deal?

Frankly I'd be amazed if a LR dealer selling you a (brand new, presumably) Evoque would charge you for a missing key that they can replace for bugger all.

Are you sure the supplying dealer of the old model didn't keep a spare key? This often happens if the vehicle is on finance, doesnt it?
