I currently have one piece drilled discs, there are hairline cracks from the holes, and they're probably on borrowed time. What are my options and what are the pros and cons?

TIA

Paul, when I did my rebuild years ago I had some custom aluminium spacers made up by an engineering company (cost me £100 from memory) which then allowed me to fit 330 x 28mm AP two piece discs using the CP5200 4.5 callipers. This is a great setup. Note that the 4.5 calipers can only accomodate 28mm discs (unless you modify them.... see below)

I was looking at replacement discs the other day and found that Reyland are selling a pair of 330x28mm discs now on ebay for £250 which is pretty good value since the AP ones are £400+ per set. I also spied something else pretty cool on their website:

http://www.reyland.co.uk/discs-pads-parts/

Look at the top for the CP5200 caliper shims.... these are fitted/sandwiched between the caliper block and allow you to run discs up to 32mm thick.

So, basically you can spec whatever you want to be fair. You could go 6/8 pot with 360mm discs etc with some custom spacers, but as I said, in my opinion the 330x28 is more than enough for most.......

Ok so there's spacers and rotors. Any idea where I can find the bells that would fit a late 4.2?

Thanks everyone, I think I'll be going for the RG's own version of J0759.

I've a pair of Tuscan red rose or Tuscan S bells kicking around in my garage some where. I'm 99 % sure they will fit on a Cerb

If you have the 4 bolt calipers you are limited to about 310mm, 6 bolt up to 330mm, i have six bolts that have had the corners shaved to go over 343mm discs.
I will be getting shot of these once my new pads arrive for my Alcon Monoblocs.

Thanks Gray and Brummie for your offers, I'll consider the cost options vs RG's. I replaced my fronts only 10k ago, but I know the drilled ones get worn quick, and the two part seems the most economic and versatile in the long run.
