Brake caliper painting

I need to completely overhaul my brake system and I want my calipers painting or powder coating green to match the car , does anyone know of a company that will do it .
I'm going to strip and rebuild them afterwards .

Tux, i'm visiting an AP approved company next Thursday concerning overhaul of the calipers but l don't think they will paint them - especially not Green

I'm also interested in this, I had a set powder coated red on another car thinking it was the done thing and the paint melted on a track day! My guess is the guy I used done a shoddy job as I think bondy has done his and they've lasted ok?

I've never used these guys, only just found them on the net. They seem like they know what they are doing.

I painted my own. Not sure they do green though. Lol

Tux....don't paint them yet. Rumour from the Horse's mouth is that the Jetstream BIG brake kit is going to be available within 10 days or so!

You wouldn't need to overhaul the current ones then.....

Tux, i had green callipers on my celica, certainly divided opinion. There is a standard caliper paint in the same (or very similar) colour to your car. I have heard powdercoated jobbies can fade due to the heat ala evo brembo calipers.

Thanks for all the advice guys , my biggest concern is the Heat on track effecting the paint !! will contact both companys and see what they say .

Lawrence , no way budget will extend to new calipers but im already planning the brake disc upgrade .

hammerite works fine - i have a set of calipers that have been cooked to death over 10 years and they are still ok

you can paint them easy by just taking the rims off and painting then in situ

if you are concerned about the heat - just paint the back and do a trackday and see what happens

Yes, Buckingham Green but Wickes do their own Green (as used on my garden furniture recently) - a much more larey Green
