Been done years ago but what the heck; who is the oldest Griff owner on PH, I'll start the ball rolling, 65 and no sign of selling yet.

I'm catching up, 61. Had Griffs for about 15 years.

I'm a newbie then Dave, only had mine 8 years. [But have had old Lotus Elans since 1969 so I have reasons to be bald!]

Oldest I know is Joseph (Sep) Baumgartner, president of the Austrian TVRCC. I don't know his exact age but he's got to have a good decade on the previous posters. Last time I saw him he was still driving his griff as it was meant to be driven.

I'm 64: a mere whippersnapper!

And I've got two of 'em. Does that make me doubly daft?

I'm glad you started this thread, at 61 it appears I'm just a fresh-faced kid around these parts! And there was me thinking I'm getting way too old to drive this car. I wonder if they'll let me have the car if or when the old folks home beckons. Imagine that, rolling up at the Chelsea Pensioners Hospital in a TVR Griffith.

Very similar at 68 and also had my 500 for 10 years , I was going to sell a while back but its running so well decided to keep it.

Have older Classics but rather worried with all the potential changes to MOT, EEC directives etc. that these may be eventually legislated off the road. As the Griffith is in comparison fairly new chances are we may still be able to use them fully for the forseeable future. It is also is a darn site more comfortable on a long journey than the old bone shakers!
