Fitting Clifford alarm myself?

Looking to buy a Clifford Arrow 5.1 car alarm. Have any forum members fitted one of these themselves? thanks

never fitted one but had a clifford cat 1 a few years back and remember it took the installer best part of 4 hours. this was on a 172 clio. all dash and stuff was out to hide certain parts

Have you seen the ball of wires these things come with!

To make a difference to your insurance, it needs to be fitted by a VSIB installer.

Personally I'd rather fit them myself.

"Pros" tend to throw them in as quickly as possible meaning they can also be bypassed quickly too.

However the previous poster is correct about the Cert.

I agree, i would fit myself too.The instructions they come with are pretty comprehensive so as long as your electrically competent it shouldnt be a problem
