chaps, I need a little help.

Broke my arm quite badly two weeks ago, then had surgery to have fixing plates put in this last Wednesday.
This means I cant drive a manual car at all for the next 6 weeks at least cry , however the doc has said I could get away driving an auto in about 2 weeks.

So, the plan is to get a super cheap auto crapbox, and drive that till I go back to driving proper cars.
However, being the poor student type, whatever car I get needs to be cheap. Like, seriously cheap. Insurance too.

can anyone suggest a suitable vehicle? Under £600 quid would be best, so it gives me around £400 to insure?

people that come up with good suggestions can claim 10 "arollingstone" points tongue outhehe

Volvo 850 T5 auto. You won't want to sell it.

This looks good with tax and test for £650. Cheap insurance too.

Edit - just saw it has been reduced to £575. Quite tempted myself!

Rover 75
Saab 9-5
Omega

I'd be looking at bigger cars like the ones above.

Do you really need a car for the time your arms broken as a student though? You may well do, just seems quite extreme. smile
