Where do I start!

I want to start tracks days, but I need some guidance on where to begin? Eg rules, cars, prices etc

Have a read through the threads on this forum, that would be a good start and there's a massive amount of knowledge..

What car do you have and what are your nearest venues??

I'm west London way don't know many places, I haven't yet got a car thinking a Clio 172 or mx5

Both good / cheap options. Have a look for MSV novice only days at Brands Hatch or Bedford Autodrome. That's a good way to start.
