Had the very same thought. The very special and beautiful 3000s Turbo which is in HHC is very tempting and a very fair price given the care and attention which John Simpson lavished on it.
Yes, I'd love it, but just couldn't bring myself to part-ex my Tuscan for it. Very close but just feel the 3000s Turbo wouldn't be quite as usable especially given the number of miles I do.

Oh come on.. If you know your TVRs you'll know that they coninually improved the cars. There's far to many individual improvements between the mk1 and the later Tuscans both dynamically and in overall build quality to list in full. A good mk2 will be worth more than the equivalent mk1 which supports the op's view that they are a step up. The design changes are subjective both inside and out, I personally think that the last curvy dash Tuscans are the cream of the crop!what actually is the upgrade
