R300/400 only car
Discussion
Hi all,
I get the feeling that my brain is not going to let up on me until I scratch the Caterham itch. If/when I do it I will be looking to go down the R300 or R400 route. Now for te interesting/daft bit:
My commute each day is done by motorbike, however there will be points I the deepest depths of winter where this just isn't feasible. At present I have a BMW Z3 MCoupe which isn't exactly the most winter friendly car, but I appreciate that a Caterham is much more hardcore proposition. Has anyone here tried to use these as their only car? Is there any reason why it would be a really really bad move?

I have both .... in colder weather the bike (R1200GS, heated grips etc) is far more pleasant than my Tillett seats / no heater / no carpet SLR. Unless it's icy in which case any car is going to be more inherently stable than a bike, the bike is easier to live with. It's also quicker to wash down to help prevent corrosion.
