Well, as my Sunday has been cut short due to the weather (can't do a lot now) I was wondering what everyone else gets up to.
My Sunday started by picking up the daughter from the ex's I went in the escort so I could fit some new cheap stoppers I had bought off eBay (£400, which beleive it or not is cheap for this car), as soon as I received them I stripped them down and sent them away to be blinged (it's a disease).
This is how the car started at 9am this morning-

These are the brakes, can you see them? :lol

In all there glory-

It wasn't just a case that the brakes looked small but also the fact they weren't that good to be honest, the brakes lacked the sort of bite you'd expect from a fast car.
These were the replacements, a little bigger-

Four pot ap calipers-

The difference in the size of disc's-

All fitted and bled up

My little helper all happy that she was able to help, pumping the brake pedal and changing the songs on the radio-

The finished look-

have to say they were bloody noisy for the first few applications, this was mainly due to the fact the complete bell and rotor was shot blasted and then painted in the centre and edges, to stop the steel from rusting the service was coated in a satin black, the first few applications made a noise until this was cleared.
Overall feeling is they have a better bite but the main thing is they look the b
ks.
Took the car back and looked it up, then was garden duty until it rained (only managed an hour) now sat in the house starting to feel a little bored if I am honest. Did notice that some c**t has tried to break into the shed, can't believe it, it's where all my bloody tools are stored so may have to whack another lock on the door? Lucky they never got in?
