Think it's been pushed too hard in the past and now it tends to get a bit stuck and tries to open 3/4 times when pressed once. Is it easy enough to open up and check spring/broken components?

Thank you!!

Hi,

there is no spring..only the switch itself.
Try losen the screws at the back, so the switch has more travel. Problem solved!

1.) remove Radio
2.) remove center console
3.) remove screw in the middle of the Radio pod (screw head) (the screw nut is after removing the center console accessible)
4.) now you can wiggle the radio pod out of the dashtray

maybe it sounds like a big job..but trust me..a easy job smile

Martin

if you send me your PM with your email adress, i can send you a photo documentation of disabling the complete Tuscan interior smile

Right I've been rotating that awkward nut in the centre pod for a while now and it doesn't seem to be getting any looser - can someone reassure me that there isn't just a screw spinning on the other side of it and that it is worth me persevering?!

nm - have to secure other side by taking apart the mid section...instead I've managed to undo the screws while it's still attached using a screwdriver from a christmas cracker..super awkward but it's done! Just hope it all works when back together =)
