Crikey. It that really necessary? It looks like they've been 'butchered'. Does the rough, uneven top edge not upset the airflow?

....but then, if it does the job, who cares!

Im getting the plenum in due course with probably twin throttle, but it will deffinately need a remap and possibly bigger injectors.Which will add up to a bit of cash.So for now just the trumpets

It is hard to appreciate from the photos, but these carbon trumpets are a gorgeous piece of three dimensional art, and every corner and cut-out is there for a purpose. Designing these to fit so closely must have been a real challenge!

Mike not been on a RR yet but the driving its way different,i wouldn't believe just fitting the trumpets would make so much difference. The pick up is much smoother, the exhaust sound has changed and the torque is deffinately up!!!!, Cant tell if power is up or not, but TBH i don't realy care. Im one seriously happy Pies

So in short Mike, get your wallet out

Good choice, started with those myself.
Slightly O/T, I think most 500's would benefit greatly from these, if only they could see what is standard fair under their plenums, 8 sections of sawn off exhaust pipe/tubing , talk about strangle the engine.
