Hi. I have a Tom Tom via Live! Widescreen approximately 18 months old. Been perfect, but bizarrely just lost the ability to pick up a GPS signal. Constantly waiting, all menus work and will display a map on the screen of whatever destination I select. But will not revert to showing my current position. I have only found one reset selection in the menu, erase all to factory settings, but that doesn't cure it. Is there a hard reset on this or does it need to go off for repair??

they usually have a small hole on the bottom or back that you can push the end of a pencil or something into to do a hard reset.

I did see it has a small hole in the front which I thought was a reset button, but when I pushed something in it seemed to not be a button and I thought it may be a microphone? Will take another look cheers.

Most later TomToms you have to hold power button down for 10+ seconds to reset - you can get a check the manual on TomTom.com - If that doesn't cure it then PocketGpsWorld - TomTom Forum will have some good advice (a search will probably find answers to most problems)
