Looking at buying a used car. There's one that has been advertised on here and elsewhere for ages. It is cheaper than other similar ones, I assume because of the vinyl wrap. I suppose we all think it's hiding something. Does it come off ok? (If there's alredy a thread about this, perhaps someone can point me to it).

It's not a Veyron thats been spotted in Haslemere is it? wink

Seriously, the wrap should have protected the paint / bodywork but it does depend on what it was like before it was wrapped, obviously. What car / age is it? Who did the wrap? How long has it been on...?

Cool, so the paint could be excellent or a total shambles! Thanks for the top tip. wink

Depends who's wrapped it - there was a thread about a skyline that had been wrapped by the blind man who normally wraps the sunday joints in Morrisons. Wasn't pretty - knife damage IIRC. It will come off, but I'd be paying an expert to remove it.

So buy it cheap and enjoy it or un-wrap it find a world of hurt? Or buy a different one and maybe miss out on a perfectly good bargain? Gut says avoid..
