Banger Racing with Classic Rover P5s

They claim that no salvageable vehicles were involved and that a lot of spares were made available for restorers.
On the other hand a vehicle has to be a pretty damn poor state to beyond restoration, and quite possibly couldn't meet any serious safety inspection for a race.

So what's your view?

Whilst I believe that they believe the vehicles were beyond salvation I'm not that convinced.

Well I hate to see an old car destroyed, but there are more rotten carcasses about than there are people willing to restore them. I don't think sitting in someone garden rotting under a tarp for years is any better.

Nothing wrong with it, I've picked up quite a few spares from banger racers over the years.
