Im sick of buying all these different herbs and spices and all different recipes seem to require more and more lol. I have the following and was wondering what i can make using them, i just made a chicken jalfrezi but i want to make other meals using the following:

Garlic
Coriander
Cumin
Fennel
Turmeric
Garam masala
Paprika
Cayenne pepper
Ginger
Chopped tomatoes/Natural yoghurt
Onion
Fresh chillies
Tomato puree

Is there any other curries or even dishes i can make using the above in different combinations to make the sauce base?

Some of the other curries require CLOVES and other random ingredients i cant seem to sauce in my local supermarket nor can i be arsed buying fresh veg all the time to make currys, (I always have onions and garlic for other dishes which is why i included them)

You can make most curries with that list of spices. Most folks wouldn't notice if one spice out of half a dozen was missing.

Use the toms and puree along with onions, garlic and mince to make a bolognaise sauce.

It's probably worth buying some herbs to add to your basic spices, and adding a few others too.

Half the fun and most of the skill in cooking is taking what you've got and making a tasty meal rather than slavishly following a recipe.

Lately I've been doing pizzas and casseroles as having the oven on means the heating needn't get turned on until later in the evening.
