Hi there, yes I know this will offend some, but hey ho! Where is the best place to buy a fake rolex?
Way back, several years ago, I wanted a Speedmaster Professional. I was resigned to the fact I'd never be able to afford one so was looking at replicas. Then read quite a few forum posts where people, quite rightly, pointed out the error of my ways.Realistically a £100 Rolex replica is going to look like crap and anyone who knows watches will know it's a fake. So you then need to consider spending £300'ish to get something half worth having... and by then you're well on the way to saving up for the real deal. So I took that decision and started putting away the pennies for a real Speedmaster. And then earlier this year I got one. A preowned one, but the real deal. And I look forward to it every time I put it on my wrist.
So all I can say is... either buy an homage (like the Steinhart) or save up for the real deal. Fakes are just wrong.
Have a look at the Parnis or Alpha watches on offer in the £50 thread. Some miserable git barged in on the thread and started bemoaning, but the Seagull ST25 movements that they generally have are pretty good. I bought an alpha 'homage' and is built very well, but i certainly don't claiming that is is a Rolex, and if asked I say what it is.
Most of the account managers at work wear fake Rolex watches as I found out when asking them. I find it especially bad when they even say Rolex and 'Swiss Made', i find that far worse than homages.

A homage I can understand tbh but a blatant fake of anything just wouldn't sit right for me. Surely the satisfaction of owning one is knowing that it is a product of your success, it shouldn't be their for the benefit of anyone else.
+1. Only a total loser would wear a fake. The same person who puts an M badge on their 3 series diesel.Get a homage - or work harder and buy the real thing.

I speak from experience. Early on in my career, when my age and salary was a lot lower, I fell for the fake watch. I bought a Breitling from a market in Dubai on a business trip once. It wasn't too bad, from a distance it looked genuine, and the bracelet was half decent, but something inside my just nagged at me. I never wore it out of the house, it felt weird. I never knew what I'd say if someone struck up conversation about it. Do they think it's real? Are they mocking me because they're a watch guy and they know it's a blatant fake? Do they think I'm a
? It sat in the box for about six months then I sold it on eBay (making it obvious it was fake) shortly after. I'm proud to be that little bit older and little bit wiser now, and I have genuine watches to wear instead of fakes. I'm also quite proud to wear my SKX007 if I need a cheap watch on my wrist for whatever reason. Looking back, I cringe at buying the fake Breitling that day.

t and watch people will know it's a knock-off and form an opinion of you accordingly. Lose lose.Ive got a faux Deep Sea-Dweller which i keep in the shop to surprise customers looking to buy genuine items. Cost us £300 from China and has 90% of qualities of the real thing. Only thing it lacks is the Rolex marked glass and a genuine movement. Its got a Triplock crown, Saph Glass, high grade steel structure, excellent bezel action and general excellent qualiy, even has a genuine ceramic back and near identical copy movement. Fact is, its still a fake and my watchmaker can spot it from 5 feet away when comparing it to the real thing.
My advice, dont bother unless youre only using it to save wear on your genuine example. We've had customers come in who've bought one of each. One for home and holiday use, and the fake for when they wouldnt want a couple of months wages strapped to thier wrist. Sure they could just spend the £300 on a different and genuine watch for these occasions, but actually you'd be surprised how intrigued and excited by the fake they are.

Have a gander and spot the flaws. Obvious one first.

The DSSD you linked to is quite an old version. The 10 on the bezel was fixed a long time ago, as was the spacing on the rehaut. The bracelet pops open too easily under pressure, and you'll be lucky to get the divers extension open.
You can snag one of these for a shade over $250 easily. Folk who claim they can spot fakes a mile off at this level might off the mark.
Wear one and pass it off as the real thing ? No.
Have one hidden in a drawer because you can't have one, in a similar way you might have a collection of model Ferraris ? Possibly.
