Modified Hearse

My best friend has recently passed away and a comment a few months before on the subject of another friends funeral where he had a Hayabusa Hearse, was that he doesn't want a boring Hearse. I've been trying too find something a bit more interesting than your average Hearse but I've drawn blank to be honest. A modified car of some sort would be quite cool but I can't imagine there's much of a market for it, but something different from normal would be a good consideration.

I was wondering if anybody knew of any companies or has used something similar before?

Edit - doing a bit of Google searching shows there's a few places with bike-based hearses.

The Maserati is cool. That's probably the kind of thing we'd need to get as opposed to a modified car hearse.

He wasn't into bikes really more cars, it was just the bike hearse that made him want something different from the norm.

Got no contact details but I know there are a few ex hearse clubs in the UK. I know a few get turned into hot rods eg a boxy Ford Granada with a V8 in it might be your best bet. see if one of them will let the car out for a day.

At the Buck's county show was a company with a Land Rover and a armoured troop carrier as hearse's.

I've checked the national register of funeral vehicles this morning for you. Nothing 'modded' is on there sadly.
