Credit Card - Fraudulent Transaction

So whilst on holiday in Vegas my card disappeared and whilst in hospital... (Long story..) A transaction of £456.00 was taken by the hotel nightclub I was at and lost my card in.

I rang up my credit card company and reported whilst away.

Subsequently, I’ve had the following go through

14/09/2012 21/09/2012 XXXX HOTEL -456.55
14/09/2012 18/09/2012 XXXX HOTEL NIGHTCLUB 456.55

I've changed a few of the above to prevent any more fraud going on!

Is the above work by the credit card company or the hotel??? According to the credit card company last week, they weren't going to do anything until I had filled out a form to say it wasn't me.

The form hasn't arrived yet but my new card has!

Haven't heard anything from the CC company but my balance now says NIL?

You could always ring the bank and ask. You should have a referene from when you reported the fraud.

My credit card details were knicked in a petrol station and the dodgy transactions were refunded by the bank before I signed the fraud documentation.
